Trinity Churchyard
BEFORE the Cathedral was destroyed the three churches — Cathedral, Trinity and St. Michael’s — in one churchyard, must have formed one of the most impressive groups in Europe. The very fine Elizabethan house, opposite the gate of Trinity, remains one of the minor treasures of the town. Apart from the quaintness of all old oak work, the design of the building is nothing less than superb.
